Senior Backend .NET Engineer – Remote Bulgaria

Apraksts

  • Develop end-to-end backend services and API capabilities with C# and .NET
  • Produce maintainable, thoroughly tested code while shaping integration and contract testing approaches
  • Use clean-code practices and domain-driven design to guide implementation
  • Partner with product and QA teams to refine, estimate, and plan roadmap work
  • Surface technical risks, dependencies, and delivery concerns early
  • Follow backend security practices and contribute to overall system reliability
  • Strengthen observability with effective logging, metrics, and alerting
  • Lead incident analysis and implement lasting root-cause resolutions
  • Help prioritize technical debt, performance constraints, and inefficient processes
  • Contribute to architecture and code reviews
  • Mentor colleagues through pairing, onboarding, and day-to-day support
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, including Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT, responsibly and effectively

Prasības

  • At least five years of professional experience designing and building production backend services
  • Demonstrated success delivering robust, scalable systems with C# and .NET
  • Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis or comparable caching technologies, including data modeling and performance optimization
  • Practical cloud experience with GCP preferred, with Azure or AWS also relevant
  • Experience working in containerized environments
  • Hands-on background designing event-driven systems and using messaging services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and queues
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, design patterns, observability, and backend security fundamentals
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams
  • Clear communication skills for presenting technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience developing agentic AI workflows for software engineering
  • Previous involvement in system migrations or scaling platforms during substantial user growth
  • Authorization to work in Bulgaria
