Remote Power BI Analyst – Philippines

Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting Med-Metrix’s healthcare revenue-cycle operations. Analyze financial data, assist clients and stakeholders, and uphold HIPAA-compliant reporting practices.

Apraksts

  • Partner with revenue-cycle project leaders to understand business processes and create analytics for tracking financial performance.
  • Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
  • Collect and clarify requirements for data visualization and analysis.
  • Work with data teams and analysts to obtain, clean, and transform reporting data.
  • Develop advanced DAX calculations and measures.
  • Apply data-security controls and compliance best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve issues affecting Power BI reports.
  • Train and support Power BI users.
  • Stay informed about Power BI capabilities and industry developments.
  • Produce recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain knowledge of client-specific data, including payer mix, insurance and financial classes, patient access systems, and data timing considerations.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support daily operations.
  • Work with colleagues and clients to develop effective solutions.
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly and thoroughly.
  • Handle patients’ protected health information only in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Follow Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
  • Restrict PHI access to the minimum necessary for assigned responsibilities.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • One to three years of experience, or equivalent experience, in healthcare revenue-cycle analytics.
  • Strong grasp of data modeling and visualization principles.
  • Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data.
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for building calculations.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of efficient practices for working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities grounded in accurate, timely analysis.
  • High integrity, dependable execution, urgency, and focus on results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications is required for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
