Home Energy Sales Representative

Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments for HomeWorks Energy and recommend upgrades to homeowners. Sell insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC improvements.

Apraksts

  • Assess homes through the Mass Save program and identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Use energy-efficiency software to model homes and prepare detailed savings reports.
  • Identify issues with household energy use.
  • Recommend improvements such as insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.
  • Generate sales and obtain service contracts.
  • Assist customers and explain the benefits of energy efficiency.
  • Apply sales techniques to build customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  • Help customers organize and complete required paperwork.
  • Install energy-saving items, including thermostats, water-saving devices, and power strips.
  • Submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Keep product knowledge current and develop sales skills through continued learning.
  • Stay up to date on energy-saving products and technologies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to offer related products and services.
  • Take on other duties as needed.

Prasības

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation for work travel are required.
  • BPI certification is a plus.
  • Prior customer service and sales experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Mass Save program is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently in a role based mainly in the field.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Able to work in customer environments, including attics, basements, confined spaces, rooftops, and outdoors.
  • Able to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces.
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, stand on roofs, and use stairs safely.
  • Able to travel in a personal vehicle.
