Financial Country Controller | Belgium (Hybrid)

Lead finance reporting and controllership for Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK, supporting Resideo’s smart-home and building-solutions operations. Oversee statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and regional controllership transformation.

ERP

Apraksts

  • Prepare and file statutory financial statements accurately and on schedule for applicable reporting units and legal entities
  • Coordinate statutory audits as the primary company contact
  • Review and approve complex, high-risk balance-sheet reconciliations
  • Create journal entries and reconcile key local compliance accounts, especially payroll and local taxes
  • Work with payroll, VAT, and tax teams to resolve financial and compliance issues
  • Support local tax filings and related reconciliations
  • Produce government compliance and statistical reports, including environmental and trade-related submissions
  • Join monthly operating reviews with entity-level and sub-regional controllers
  • Analyze profit-and-loss and balance-sheet activity to surface risks and opportunities
  • Work with Corporate Controllers on legal-entity changes, including acquisitions, divestitures, site closures, and core-process migrations
  • Collaborate with Corporate Tax on strategic tax initiatives and projects
  • Act as a key contact for tax audits and local compliance issues
  • Help improve and automate regional controllership processes

Prasības

  • Background in industry or public accounting focused on controllership, accounting, and auditing
  • Business or finance degree, or professional accounting qualification
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Proven experience managing the monthly accounting cycle
  • Experience with local statutory reporting, US GAAP or IFRS compliance, and strong internal controls
  • Advanced Excel and ERP capabilities, preferably with SAP
  • Dutch language skills are considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with Belgian and/or Dutch GAAP is considered an advantage
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex, demanding international matrix organization
