Computer Vision Software Engineer

Apraksts

  • Enhance automated optical inspection to identify missing, rotated, misplaced, or poorly soldered components.
  • Train and deploy models to locate components in bins and trays, centre them on the nozzle, and detect clumped or dropped picks.
  • Implement fiducial detection, calibration, and image alignment for precise component placement.
  • Determine what data to capture, create labelling tools, and turn operator verdicts into training data.
  • Work with high-speed cameras and the GPU capture pipeline to bring vision processing closer to real time.
  • Monitor production accuracy, find sources of errors, and validate changes against historical results.
  • Collaborate with AI agents and help scale CircuitHub’s factory robotics platform, The Grid.

Prasības

  • You have shipped computer vision systems to production, beyond notebook prototypes.
  • You have strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or a comparable language.
  • You have experience with both classical vision techniques, such as geometry, calibration, and template matching, and deep learning, and know when to use each.
  • Experience with industrial or machine vision cameras is a plus.
  • You use coding agents to work faster and take full ownership of their output.
  • You enjoy working with physical systems, including lighting, lenses, and components rotated by 90 degrees.
  • You have experience with OpenCV, PyTorch and Lightning, ONNX Runtime on GPU, and libtorch from Haskell.
  • You have experience with Basler GigE cameras using pylon and high-speed cameras with GPUDirect capture.
  • You have experience with Python, Haskell, PostgreSQL, Nix, and NixOS.
