  • Develop a caching layer that keeps agent tool calls from reaching external systems unnecessarily.
  • Introduce event streaming to reduce services’ reliance on synchronous HTTP chains.
  • Strengthen agent dispatch with health checks, circuit breakers, retry handling, and observability that distinguishes failures from degraded performance.
  • Create platform observability with service-level metrics, cross-service tracing, and actionable alerts.
  • Help migrate orchestration and develop infrastructure as code.
  • Improve releases with canary deployments, traffic shifting, and dependable rollback procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Engineer.
  • Initially report to the Chief AI Officer, then to the Senior Engineering Manager.

Reikalavimai

  • Production experience improving distributed system reliability, including caching, queuing, circuit breaking, backpressure, timeouts, and idempotency.
  • Proficiency with Python and containerized environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or a comparable orchestration platform.
  • Experience with event streaming and its failure modes.
  • Strong observability skills, including metrics and distributed tracing.
  • Sound judgment about alerting on symptoms rather than causes.
  • A track record of delivering reliability improvements with measurable before-and-after results.
  • Preferred: experience with durable workflow orchestration.
  • Preferred: experience running blue/green and canary deployments at scale.
  • Preferred: experience profiling Python service performance.
