Senior Manufacturing Line Coordinator

Coordinate semiconductor photomask production at Photronics’ Boise facility, balancing work in progress, customer priorities, and operational constraints. Lead production escalations and cross-functional recovery efforts to improve cycle time and delivery.

  • Manage work in progress and set daily priorities around customer commitments, engineering needs, operating constraints, and business priorities.
  • Route priority, qualification, expedited, and customer-critical material through bottlenecks and constrained resources.
  • Assess capacity and workflow constraints, advance priority material to completion, and reduce aging work in progress to improve cycle time.
  • Use Factory View, MES, RackMon, and other production control systems at an advanced level.
  • Act as the primary Production Control coordinator on assigned shifts.
  • Lead production handoffs and guide Manufacturing Line Coordinator I and II team members.
  • Coordinate Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, Customer Support, and Operations teams, including teams at other Photronics sites when needed.
  • Update stakeholders and customers as needed on plate status, delivery risks, technical issues, equipment downtime, defects, and recovery plans.
  • Oversee held, waiting, aging, and exception inventory.
  • Work with Engineering on holds, dispositions, restarts, and priority issues.
  • Manage operational escalations from identification through resolution.
  • Lead cross-functional recovery efforts addressing manufacturing constraints, engineering issues, equipment downtime, material shortages, and workflow disruptions.
  • Resolve issues that threaten delivery and track recovery actions through completion.
  • Support new manufacturing processes, automation initiatives, visibility tools, and workflow improvements.
  • Recommend and contribute to improvements in cycle time, throughput, inventory management, communication, and customer delivery performance.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrate strong organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritize work independently, make operational decisions, and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Coordinate work across multiple functions.
  • Assess plate production status and technical issues, explain risks and schedule impacts, and communicate concerns and next steps to Sales, Customer Service, and customers.
  • Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word proficiently.
  • Have experience with ERP, MES, production tracking, or manufacturing information systems.
  • Analyze operational data to identify production risks and workflow constraints.
  • Show close attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Have at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing, production control, supply chain, inventory management, scheduling, logistics, or operations coordination.
  • Build effective working relationships and communicate critical information clearly and professionally.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
