Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
Work with Cisco enterprise customers to shape AI architectures, integrations, and production rollouts. Use customer insights to improve Cisco’s AI platform in partnership with product and engineering teams.
Aprašymas
- Work with enterprise customers to clarify technical needs and business objectives
- Design scalable AI architectures and support customers through production deployment
- Develop integrations, prototypes, and reusable tools to help customers succeed
- Run technical workshops and architecture discussions
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues
- Share customer feedback with Product and Engineering and help shape product improvements
- Produce documentation, repeatable best practices, and technical resources for future deployments
Reikalavimai
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience building production applications, or a master’s degree plus 4 years of related experience, or a PhD plus 1 year of related experience
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud platforms, or backend development
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple layers of the technology stack
- Excellent communication and ability to work directly with enterprise customers
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Interest in AI, machine learning, or developer platforms
- Preferred: Experience deploying or supporting generative AI, LLM, or machine learning applications in production
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, observability, or MLOps
- Preferred: Experience building customer-facing technical solutions or integrations
- Preferred: Experience creating reusable developer tools or frameworks, or contributing to open source
- Preferred: Enterprise experience in consulting, solutions engineering, or technical customer success
