Aprašymas

  • Support the Regional Capital Projects group with cost tracking, analysis, and controls.
  • Provide cost support for concurrent projects across Bayport, Channelview, La Porte, and Pipeline operations.
  • Contribute to cost control throughout each project’s life cycle.
  • Keep progress tracking and change management systems effective during engineering and construction.
  • Explain cost variances, investigate root causes, and maintain a trend log.
  • Map estimates to WBS structures for project cost tracking and control.
  • Prepare total installed cost forecasts for monthly projections and accrual reporting.
  • Check invoices for contract compliance and resolve issues with contractors, vendors, and Accounts Payable.
  • Process financial postings in SAP and track invoice backlogs.
  • Compare contractor estimates and change orders with project scope and schedule progress.
  • Use project schedule reports and terminology to support forecasts.
  • Check that Project Controls Plans in Project Execution Plans align with project scope and contracting.
  • Create or update SAP purchase requisitions to match procurement strategy and TIC estimate accounts.
  • Support project closeout by resolving GR-IR imbalances and closing project POs, work orders, and WBS elements.
  • Track labor recovery, resource budgets, and project activity allocations.
  • Supply data for benchmarking and KPI reports, including IPA reporting.
  • Attend regional site meetings and prepare presentations for them.
  • Support program standardization, improvements, and team training.
  • Reconcile the annual Long-Range Plan against current funding, master data, and project schedules.

Reikalavimai

  • Typically, at least 7 years of cost analysis or project controls experience, preferably on petrochemical or refining projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage shifting priorities against tight deadlines.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of standard cost guidelines and capital and expense policies and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office, Ariba, and/or Concur.
  • Broad knowledge of project controls, including estimating, risk management, and scheduling.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Power BI dashboard development or programming experience is a plus.
