Senior BI Engineer – Poland (Remote)
Build Power BI and Databricks reporting, data pipelines, and AI agents for XTB, a leading online financial trading company in Poland.
Aprašymas
- Create and maintain business reports and applications with Power BI and Databricks.
- Develop and maintain data processing pipelines in a Databricks and dbt environment.
- Build AI agents in Databricks and contribute to their development.
- Prepare and update SQL scripts for data modeling.
- Help analyze requirements, identify data sources, and build ETL processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create reporting datasets and address system issues.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Apply best practices, resolve bottlenecks, and improve processes.
- Mentor colleagues and help develop their technical skills.
- Use Jira with the project team to plan, track, and manage work for effective delivery.
Reikalavimai
- At least five years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics.
- Strong skills in data modeling, process optimization, and data mart development.
- Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, and T-SQL.
- Advanced Databricks knowledge, including DABs, Lakeflow Pipelines, Metric Views, and optimization techniques.
- Experience managing Power BI environments and using .pbip files with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and practical involvement in process automation, such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments, including Databricks and Azure.
- Experience implementing data quality controls and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts and Data Mesh architecture.
