  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, including Atomic’s expansion into Europe, by coordinating workstreams, owners, timelines, and requests from regulators and outside counsel.
  • Establish the company’s project management function as its first hire, setting up project intake, prioritization, templates, and status reporting.
  • Plan and deliver projects across finance, compliance, legal, and operations, from initial scope through completion.
  • Track company-wide timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource needs, and raise issues early.
  • Prepare leadership updates and facilitate productive project meetings.
  • Manage core controllership work, including accounting for technology and RIA entities, consolidated month-end close, and corporate tax compliance with the FinOp and external tax advisors.
  • Improve and accelerate month-end close through projects using NetSuite and other systems.
  • Shift work into pre-close activities and use automation to make the close more efficient.
  • Develop and strengthen consolidated accounting policies and controls across fintech products and entities.
  • Prepare the company for a consolidated audit within 12 to 24 months.
  • Provide treasury coverage for the CFO, including cash positioning, payment approvals, bank relationships, and cash runway forecasting.
  • Work with partners across finance, compliance, legal, operations, and engineering leadership.
  • Report to the CFO and, for broker-dealer work, to the Financial and Operations Principal.

Reikalavimai

  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience leading cross-functional project management work and delivering complex initiatives on scope and on schedule.
  • Have experience managing regulatory, licensing, or market expansion projects in financial services.
  • Be proficient with Jira, Asana, monday.com, or comparable project management tools.
  • Bring substantial finance and accounting experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, or RIA settings.
  • Be comfortable working with regulated, multi-entity structures, including international subsidiaries.
  • Have working knowledge of US corporate tax compliance and experience coordinating with external tax advisors.
  • Have hands-on treasury and cash management experience and understand internal controls.
  • Have basic IFRS knowledge sufficient to oversee accountants based in the EU.
  • Be proficient in NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system.
  • Use English at an advanced level for cross-team collaboration.
  • PMP, CAPM, or a similar project management certification is preferred.
  • An active CPA license and/or self-regulatory agency license, such as FINRA, is preferred; a CPA will be needed by March 2028.
  • Expertise in SOX frameworks is preferred.
  • International tax experience, especially with EU-US holding structures, is preferred.
