Aprašymas

  • Set technology strategy and oversee transformation, delivery, and operational performance for CVS Caremark’s prescription claims adjudication platform and ecosystem.
  • Maintain reliable, secure, scalable claims processing for Commercial Programs, Government Services, and enterprise strategic initiatives.
  • Define a long-term vision and actionable roadmap that align people, processes, and technology.
  • Lead the move to cloud-native, microservices-based, domain-driven architecture.
  • Shift delivery from projects to products and modernize experience layers.
  • Direct API-first strategy, governance, lifecycle management, and real-time and batch integrations.
  • Apply AI, DevSecOps, test automation, and simpler architecture to improve operations.
  • Work with senior leaders in Operations, Product, Client Services, Network Management, Pricing, Data and Integration Services, and Client Experience Engineering.
  • Oversee a multi-program investment portfolio and cost base, including business cases for innovation.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, NCPDP, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop more than 500 engineers and senior technology leaders.
  • Manage technology provider and third-party relationships, and track industry and technology changes.
  • Report to the Vice President of Adjudication and Client Experience Engineering.

Reikalavimai

  • Bring at least 15 years of progressive experience in technology, software engineering, application delivery, or platform leadership.
  • Have led large, complex organizations and enterprise portfolios with more than $50 million in accountability.
  • Demonstrate success leading technology and business transformation in a large, matrixed, highly regulated environment.
  • Have owned mission-critical platforms with demanding availability, performance, resilience, security, and operational support needs.
  • Bring experience with core platforms, AI, cloud technologies, service-based or microservices architectures, enterprise application integration, API strategy and lifecycle management, and system interoperability.
  • Show strong financial and portfolio management capabilities, including investment prioritization, workforce planning, vendor management, and delivery accountability.
  • Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Show success leading organizational change and building high-performing leadership teams.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Know pharmacy benefit management, health care claims processing, benefit administration, clinical and formulary services, pharmacy networks, or related health care transaction ecosystems.
  • Preferred: Have experience with prescription claims adjudication platforms, high-volume real-time transaction processing, and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs standards.
  • Preferred: Have experience with HIPAA and health care privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preferred: Have experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, modern software delivery, and observability practices.
