Support Engineering Manager – Military Aviation Training (Onsite)
Boeing seeks an engineering manager to lead military aviation courseware design, development, validation, and delivery. The role oversees multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, schedules, budgets, program controls, and customer requirements.

- Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering military aviation training courseware from design through validation and delivery
- Manage cost, quality, schedule reporting, Earned Value, and program controls
- Convert Statements of Work and customer requirements into execution plans, schedules, ROM estimates, RFP responses, and final pricing
- Maintain integrated schedules covering internal and external courseware deliverables
- Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, issues, and opportunities
- Ensure work complies with Boeing policies, applicable standards, and contractual commitments
- Oversee supplier relationships and third-party deliverables
- Improve processes and tools while applying lessons learned
- Direct onboarding, performance management, coaching, career development, and training or certification planning
- Develop executive briefings and status updates for leadership and external customers
- Contribute to IRAD activities and new business proposals
- Coordinate technical strategy and execution with functional teams
- Lead pilots, maintainers, instructional designers, programmers, and graphics specialists supporting military aviation training

- An active Secret U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required
- At least one year of leadership experience or completion of Boeing’s internal Exploring Leadership course
- Experience working with external suppliers, cross-functional internal teams, or Common Core Functional Teams
- Experience managing schedules and budgets, communicating with stakeholders, and planning programs
- Experience preparing and presenting information to executives, senior leaders, and external customers
- Experience managing high-visibility project plans
- Experience applying data analytics methods to complex problem solving
- Experience working with a U.S. Government or Department of Defense customer
- At least five years of engineering or technical experience involving aircraft, mission systems, or training solutions
- U.S. Person status is required for export control compliance
- Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment completion is required
- Successful completion of the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process is required
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- The role may require drug and alcohol testing
- Boeing will not sponsor employment visa status
