  • Create user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for web pages and components
  • Extend the web design system with reusable components and patterns while maintaining documentation
  • Produce specifications, redlines, and handoff materials for distributed engineering teams
  • Collaborate with developers in Jira and track design tickets through completion
  • Compare live branches and staging builds with approved design specifications
  • Conduct user research in partnership with the research lead
  • Design and build conversion-focused web pages on a CMS staging branch
  • Apply AI-assisted and design-to-code tools to streamline handoff and reduce manual production work
  • Present design rationale to stakeholders and incorporate their feedback
  • Partner with engineers, web authors, TPMs, and web strategists to deliver polished, accessible experiences
  • Work across teams to identify and communicate user needs and objectives
  • Manage ambiguity while balancing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Талаптар

  • At least five years of experience designing web or product experiences, preferably in a CMS-driven or component-based environment
  • Experience creating detailed specifications and redlines for engineering handoff in asynchronous or distributed teams
  • Comfort working with developers in Jira or a comparable ticketing system and tracking work through completion
  • Knowledge of design systems, tokens, and component libraries, with an interest in maintaining and expanding them
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and their application to web design
  • Strong visual design ability with close attention to detail and consistency
  • Working knowledge of hierarchy, typography, color, and layout principles
  • Strong interaction design and prototyping capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma
  • Experience with usability testing, user research, or research-informed design
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, plus curiosity about implementation
  • Experience incorporating AI tools into everyday design work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and openness to feedback
  • Degree in Design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX craft
  • Must be based in Costa Rica
  • Preferred: experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • Preferred: experience with Adobe After Effects and Lottie
  • Preferred: familiarity with front-end development concepts or prior front-end coding experience
  • Preferred: experience with AI-assisted and generative design tools such as Figma Make or Lovable
