  • Develop and manage Generative Engine Optimization and off-page search strategies
  • Build programmatic GEO authority across academic and professional sectors
  • Strengthen recognition of institutional entities and brand authority in LLM knowledge bases and Knowledge Graphs
  • Oversee tiered publisher engagement and outreach pipelines
  • Identify target sites and direct high-value media opportunities to internal or client PR and communications teams
  • Conduct outreach to publications and education portals
  • Assess sentiment across third-party websites, education portals, and industry platforms
  • Address inaccurate, outdated, or negative brand information through focused publisher outreach
  • Track and report AI visibility, sentiment, citation share, share of voice, and citation placement
  • Use Profound, Ahrefs, and other enterprise tools to evaluate AI search performance
  • Apply SEO and content marketing practices to GEO programs and web initiatives
  • Optimize content for Retrieval-Augmented Generation extraction and Information Gain
  • Work with Content Marketing to address competitive content gaps and develop new content
  • Champion GEO across SEO, Affiliate, Product Marketing, Legal, Creative, Editorial, and Web teams
  • Use AI tools, prompts, Claude, Gemini, and Python scripts to accelerate discovery, sentiment classification, and reporting with human oversight

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of experience managing organic search, digital outreach, or content marketing strategies across multiple websites
  • At least 1 year of direct, hands-on experience with Generative Engine Optimization and AI search strategy
  • Experience leading cross-functional workflows and delivering off-page outreach campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of generative search, LLM retrieval mechanics, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and entity-based SEO
  • Strong command of keyword research, search intent mapping, metadata, on-page optimization, content marketing, and internal linking
  • Advanced proficiency with Profound, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and Looker Studio
  • Proven success earning brand mentions, guest contributions, and authoritative citations in industry publications, news outlets, and education portals
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to turn complex AI search concepts into actionable priorities for cross-functional teams
  • Preferred: experience in higher education or test preparation and professional licensure; familiarity with technical SEO, including crawling infrastructure, JavaScript rendering, and structured data or JSON-LD schema is also preferred.
