  • Own the strategic direction of an assigned portfolio of data center assets and development opportunities
  • Increase asset value, market performance, customer engagement, and long-term investment returns
  • Create and implement strategies that support revenue growth, customer retention, capital efficiency, and durable asset value
  • Connect commercial decisions with technical factors such as power, cooling, connectivity, capacity planning, and data center operations
  • Contribute to master planning and long-range development strategies for new and existing data center campuses
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Sustainability, Legal, Engineering, Sales, Product, and other cross-functional teams
  • Help prepare and manage budgets while aligning capital deployment with market priorities
  • Assess customer needs, infrastructure limitations, power availability, capacity utilization, and development prospects
  • Lead pre-renewal customer outreach, track satisfaction, and uncover expansion and growth opportunities
  • Deliver market insights to Acquisitions & Investments, Design & Construction, Sales, and Property Operations teams
  • Act as the company’s primary stakeholder for the assigned market
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts and contribute to special projects and complex analyses
  • Define market strategy, develop proposals, underwrite and negotiate leases, recommend acquisitions or dispositions, advance renewal and expansion opportunities, and manage capital and inventory

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, business, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, investments, portfolio management, leasing, data center operations, sales engineering, solutions engineering, technical account management, capacity planning, or a related area
  • Experience with data centers, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, hyperscale development, critical facilities, or other mission-critical environments is preferred
  • Ability to explain how power, cooling, connectivity, capacity planning, construction, and operations affect customer decisions, investment strategy, and asset performance
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with colleagues, local government representatives, stakeholders, brokers, and customers
  • Results-focused, accountable approach with the ability to handle ambiguity and manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Professional, articulate presence and comfort engaging with senior executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex ideas clearly
  • Ability to interpret raw market data and turn findings into strategic recommendations
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, forecast models, legal documents, construction plans, and contracts
  • Understanding of how capital allocation affects financial performance, with the ability to manage risk and maximize returns
  • Experience assessing operating and capital expenditures, financial forecasting, job-cost accounting, project budgets, long-term cash flows, variance analysis, and expense reconciliations
  • Ability to learn and apply local laws and ordinances governing real estate ownership, leasing, financing, and operations
  • Proficient understanding of construction and development processes
  • Availability to work on-site in Seattle, Washington
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
