Remote On-Set Manager (New York)

Manage SAG-AFTRA talent contracts, work hours, and production records on set. Support CMC Forecast commercial productions under the Letter of Adherence.

  • Coordinate with production and client staff before talent call times.
  • Build a working relationship with the 2nd Assistant Director.
  • Collect I-9, W-2, W-4, and applicable minor trust documents.
  • Gather and review completed talent contracts with the client.
  • Check contracts for cross-outs and client initials beside the company signature.
  • Give talent copies of their contract documents.
  • Verify that performer costume photos are attached to contracts.
  • Meet with union representatives when needed.
  • Check that performer dressing rooms are clean, comfortable, and appropriately separate.
  • Verify that working restroom facilities are available.
  • Check that Craft Services offers a range of beverages.
  • For minors, coordinate with the nurse and check that teaching and waiting areas are suitable.
  • Ask the client or production company about the previous day’s work for time reports.
  • Help track talent hours, breaks, and overtime.
  • Review monitors for possible extras upgrades.
  • Prepare talent estimates for upgrades when requested.
  • Ensure the client sends contracts, W-4s, I-9s, production time reports, talent photos, releases and waivers, work permits, and minor trust account details to the Business Affairs/CMC Manager within three days of the shoot.
  • Take on other projects and duties as assigned.

Талаптар

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of on-set production experience.
  • Knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract.
  • Availability to work outside regular business hours, including weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Use discretion when handling difficult situations.
  • Be alert, capable, and proactive.
  • Comfort using a laptop, portable scanner, and portable printer.
