Nurse Auditor – Florida Remote
Baptist Health is seeking a Nurse Auditor to review medical charges against clinical records and identify missed revenue. The role also supports standardized billing documentation, chargemaster updates, and clinical staff training.

- Blend clinical practice with education and leadership as a subject-matter expert in the relevant specialty.
- Lead and complete concurrent, pre-bill, and retrospective audits comparing billed charges with medical records to uncover missed revenue.
- Find charging improvement opportunities and investigate their underlying causes.
- Partner with leadership to establish consistent charging and documentation standards.
- Contribute to the department’s yearly chargemaster review.
- Help educate clinical staff about chargemaster updates.
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- At least three years of clinical experience.
- Four years of experience required for the position.
- Experience with procedural coding, billing, and audits.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and rules governing billing to government payers is helpful.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Careful attention to detail.
- National certification in the relevant department specialty is preferred.
