  • Provide administrative coordination for Barwon Health’s Senior Medical Staff Group office bearers and members.
  • Organise meetings, agendas, minutes, correspondence and annual reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet applicable compliance requirements.
  • Keep senior medical staff and membership records up to date.
  • Administer membership payments and communications.
  • Organise group events, research competitions, clinical school prizes and charitable funding applications.
  • Assist with Senior Medical Staff Group initiatives and projects.
  • Protect confidentiality and information security while following Barwon Health policies, standards and values.
  • Build productive relationships with senior medical staff and key stakeholders.

  • Significant experience in a comparable administrative position, ideally in healthcare.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders from varied backgrounds.
  • Capacity to learn new systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong knowledge of confidentiality and information-sharing practices.
  • Sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
  • Certificate III or above in office administration is preferred.
  • Experience working with an incorporated association is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely is preferred.
  • Available to attend occasional meetings and social events beyond standard business hours.
  • Satisfactory Police Record Check.
  • Immunisation Status Clearance.
  • Working with Children Check, where applicable.
