- Collect cash against the debtors ledger.
- Reconcile accounts promptly and resolve related queries.
- Use technology and established processes to improve collection efficiency and accuracy.
- Update the Credit Manager on collection progress and account status.
- Process cash receipts and allocations, and complete daily bank reconciliations.
- Investigate account issues, with particular focus on debts 60 or 90 days overdue.
- Escalate issues to account managers and general managers when needed.
- Resolve queries within agreed service level targets.
- Log collection activity in financial systems.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting and aged receivables analysis.
- Respond to business requests and provide organisational support.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Develop and continuously improve processes and systems.
- Comply with regulatory requirements.
- Address complex matters involving business development, technology changes, and regulatory updates.

- At least two years of practical collections experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Proficiency in accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Commercial understanding and an entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong customer service skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Staffing industry experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Bullhorn, Fasttrack, Business Central, or comparable systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with third-party payment platforms such as Fieldglass or Ariba is highly desirable.
