Own a debtor portfolio for Biffa, managing collections, repayments, credit limits and credit notes. Support month-end reporting and credit control operations across the business.

- Own and manage an assigned debtor portfolio
- Pursue overdue balances proactively by telephone and email
- Investigate payment issues and resolve queries causing non-payment
- Agree suitable repayment arrangements with customers when needed
- Assess and update customer credit limits
- Prepare accurate credit notes efficiently
- Support month-end reporting and associated activities
- Assist the Credit Manager and wider credit team as required

- Demonstrated experience managing a debtor portfolio in credit control or accounts receivable
- Proficiency in Excel, preferably including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
- Determined, target-focused approach with the persistence to resolve issues fully
- Clear communication and effective negotiation abilities
- Strong organisation skills and the capacity to prioritise a demanding workload
- Ability to perform accurately under pressure while maintaining close attention to detail
- Proactive and collaborative working style
