  • Drive debt collection and reduce debtor days against company targets
  • Manage customer accounts and recover outstanding balances
  • Own an assigned portion of the ledger
  • Meet agreed collection objectives
  • Produce reports detailing account performance
  • Monitor and control daily debt activity
  • Review cash allocations and recommend corrective action for accounts requiring attention
  • Refer significant issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager
  • Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
  • Resolve business enquiries within agreed deadlines
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as required

  • At least two years of experience in a collections environment
  • An ICM qualification is desirable
  • Capability to initiate and support continuous improvement activities
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Consistent attention to accuracy
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and PivotTables
  • Working knowledge of audit controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check if required for the position
