Summer legal internship with Travelers, a property and casualty insurer, focused on legal research, discovery, litigation drafting, and exposure to court proceedings. Work alongside Staff Counsel and receive structured mentorship and substantive feedback.
Description
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare discovery materials
- Draft briefs and motions
- Observe proceedings in multiple courts
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trials or hearings
- Work with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners
- Apply substantive feedback to assignments
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Able to work a planned 40-hour week
- Available for a 10- to 12-week summer internship from June through August 2027
