Student Pharmacist – Chemist Warehouse, Newmarket, Onsite
Support pharmacy dispensing, medication counselling, customer service, and inventory management as a Student Pharmacist at Chemist Warehouse. This part-time onsite role is based in Newmarket and offers experience within Australia’s largest pharmacy network.
Description
- Complete pharmacy duties under the supervision of a Pharmacist
- Respond to customer service enquiries
- Support prescription intake, collection, and dispensing processes
- Provide customers with medication counselling
- Replenish stock and keep inventory levels maintained
- Work throughout the pharmacy shift, including extended periods on your feet
- Submit an application form and resume
- Attend an onsite interview at your preferred store if shortlisted
Requirements
- Student Pharmacist position carried out under Pharmacist supervision
- Perform duties in accordance with standards from the Pharmacy Board of Australia, the Pharmacy Guild, and QCPP
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate a committed and dependable work ethic
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Have knowledge of pharmacy products
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Show willingness to learn and develop within the business
- Satisfy National Criminal History Check requirements
- Hold the appropriate working rights
- Remain standing for extended periods during shifts
- Perform repetitive movements and lift heavier items while replenishing stock
