- Own features across Hercules’ AI Agent, helping users create full-stack applications
- Develop App Builder capabilities for building, previewing, and deploying applications
- Create dependable, scalable hosting infrastructure supporting hundreds of thousands of applications
- Build SDK and headless SaaS offerings such as Hercules Commerce, Auth, CMS, and Files & Media
- Deliver an accessible platform with enterprise-level security and reliability
- Advance Hercules’ internal AI coding harness
- Release rapidly, learn from errors, and build features around customer needs
Requirements
- Senior or staff-level experience in full-stack software engineering
- Solid command of system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively within monorepos
- Strong product and design judgment, with a history of independently delivering numerous customer-facing features
- Substantial SaaS experience spanning billing, subscriptions, entitlements, identity, OAuth, RBAC, SSO/SAML, product analytics, A/B testing, feature flags, internationalization, and notifications
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, containers, Postgres, Redis, and Temporal
- Ability to use frontier AI coding tools to substantially improve development velocity
- Availability to work in US time zones when remote
- Willingness to travel regularly to the San Francisco office when remote
