- Design architectures that strengthen the resilience and stability of iFood’s ecosystem
- Find improvements that reduce rework and make delivery more predictable
- Advance the use of artificial intelligence in governance and product solutions
- Lead technical initiatives with core engineering and product teams
- Recommend changes that improve the development lifecycle and deployment quality
- Coordinate maintenance, support, and ongoing architectural evolution
Requirements
- Substantial software development experience, including work as a Solutions Architect
- A constructive, challenging approach that helps raise the team’s technical maturity
- An integrated business and technical perspective, with the ability to propose viable solutions for both
- Deep software architecture experience covering design patterns, cross-domain decisions, and distributed systems
- Experience with resilience and observability, including single-point-of-failure mapping, caching, monitoring, and alerting
- Knowledge of messaging and asynchronous integration, cloud platforms, containers, and continuous deployment practices
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and addressing technical debt
- Ability to critically assess technical proposals and contribute meaningfully to architectural reviews
- Experience discussing costs, vulnerabilities, and architecture with technical leadership
- Demonstrated experience in the FinTech industry
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence engineering
