Description

  • Maintain and enhance Go microservices within a distributed, event-driven platform
  • Contribute to Node.js, Express, and GraphQL API services as needed
  • Support and maintain React Class Components applications when required
  • Develop new features in response to product and business requirements
  • Manage Helm charts for Stage, Production, and EU deployments
  • Maintain and improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents across services
  • Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Testify and testcontainers-go
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
  • Work with DevOps and platform teams on infrastructure changes
  • Handle additional assigned responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of professional Go development experience in production environments
  • Exposure to Node.js, Express, and React
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed-systems patterns
  • Experience working within a large ecosystem of more than 50 microservices
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and Helm, including creating and managing charts for multiple environments
  • Hands-on experience building GitHub Actions workflows for build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Experience with GCP services, especially Pub/Sub, and RabbitMQ using AMQP
  • Solid PostgreSQL experience, including ORM work with GORM or pgx, plus Redis
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch indexing, querying, and percolation patterns
  • Experience developing containerized applications with Docker
  • Familiarity with structured logging, health checks, Prometheus instrumentation, and OpenTelemetry
  • Experience with Node.js, Express.js, and GraphQL, including schema design, resolvers, and API integration
  • Familiarity with React Class Components
  • Exposure to AWS Redshift or data warehouse integrations, multi-region GCP deployments across the US and EU, and Terraform
  • Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and independent-work skills for a distributed team
