Senior Windows Server and VMware Administrator – Microsoft 365 (Remote, Spain)

Description
- Administer VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and clustered environments at an advanced level
- Manage HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, datastores, and virtual networks
- Design, expand, migrate, and upgrade VMware environments
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and infrastructure services
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments
- Administer SCCM/MECM and Intune
- Provide administration and support for Microsoft 365
- Manage patching, vulnerabilities, and hardening activities
- Resolve complex Level 2 and Level 3 incidents in production environments
- Automate with PowerShell and PowerCLI, and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Plan and execute changes, migrations, and upgrades, including risk analysis and rollback planning
- Document procedures and collaborate with technical teams
Requirements
- Senior-level experience administering VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
- Practical experience with clusters, HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion
- Experience performing VMware migrations and upgrades and troubleshooting advanced issues
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments
- Experience with SCCM/MECM and knowledge of Intune
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Experience with patching, hardening, and vulnerability management
- Strong PowerShell skills and experience with PowerCLI
- Knowledge of Terraform
- Ability to work independently in critical production environments
- Technical English proficiency for documentation and meetings
- Desirable: Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix
- Desirable: Hyper-V experience and migrations between virtualization platforms
- Desirable: Exchange Server On-Premises and hybrid environment experience
- Desirable: IIS and SQL Server experience
- Desirable: Certifications such as VCP-DCV, VCAP, AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, MD-102, or AZ-140
- Desirable: Experience automating and continuously improving processes
