Senior Technical Project Manager, Data Engineering - Pune Onsite

- Own project planning, execution, and delivery from initiation through completion
- Oversee data engineering and data platform projects
- Align stakeholders and technical teams on scope, priorities, and timelines
- Partner with architects, subject matter experts, and developers on work breakdown structures and effort estimates
- Control schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, and deliverables
- Run Agile ceremonies and maintain progress visibility
- Assess project health and deliver recurring stakeholder reports
- Coordinate testing, releases, and quality assurance activities
- Resolve delivery issues and improve project processes continuously
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams on planning, estimation, execution, and delivery
Requirements
- The role states 10–12 years of overall experience
- Bring 6–8 years of IT or technical project management experience
- Demonstrate experience leading data and integration projects
- Understand databases, cloud platforms, and back-end systems
- Bring strong experience delivering projects with Agile and Scrum
- Handle project estimation, work breakdown structures, and resource planning
- Communicate effectively through stakeholder management and project reporting
- Manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams concurrently
- Understand continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices
- Have working exposure to API development projects
- Use JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and MS Project
- Have exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Hold or pursue certifications such as ICP-ACC or CSM/PSM-I
- Apply Agile methodologies effectively in practical delivery settings
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project meetings
- Use Agile tools to manage project work
- Apply Agile technical practices that support delivery
