Senior Solution Engineer - Snowflake - Texas Remote

Lead technical sales engagements for Snowflake’s cloud data platform through discovery, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and implementation planning. Advise executive and technical stakeholders on data architecture and connect their business needs to Snowflake solutions.

Description

  • Solve complex customer challenges and support the closing of major enterprise opportunities
  • Partner with sales teams and channel partners to uncover and understand customer requirements
  • Develop strategies to advance and win sales cycles
  • Deliver demonstrations focused on customer value
  • Support enterprise proofs of concept
  • Guide opportunities through demonstrations, proofs of concept, solution design, and implementation
  • Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executive leaders and technical stakeholders
  • Work directly with prospects and customers to demonstrate and articulate Snowflake’s value
  • Maintain strong knowledge of competing and complementary technologies and vendors
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing

Requirements

  • Bring 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales role
  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills with technical and executive audiences
  • Have broad experience with large-scale databases or data warehouses, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies
  • Understand Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric architectures
  • Use SQL, SQL analytics, and Python hands-on
  • Translate customer business challenges into Snowflake solutions
  • Conduct detailed discovery of customer architecture frameworks and connect them to Snowflake data architecture
  • Hold a university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or offer equivalent experience; preferred
  • Experience with global systems integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not required
  • Be available to travel approximately 30% of the time
  • Be able to work in or near Dallas, Texas
  • Follow Snowflake confidentiality and security standards
