Senior Software Developer – DoD Workflow Systems (Remote, United States)

Build and maintain DoD waiver workflow systems for MicroTech, translating mission needs into reliable software, integrations, and deployment solutions.

Description

  • Build and maintain software for DoD waiver submission, review, routing, and disposition
  • Convert user and mission requirements into software designs and implementation tasks
  • Develop workflow logic, validation rules, interfaces, and data-handling capabilities
  • Perform code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release documentation
  • Work with engineers, database specialists, administrators, and Government stakeholders on integrations and deployments
  • Help maintain global mission continuity across the MEDEX/MEDXS mission

Requirements

  • Experience developing software for DoD waiver workflow management
  • Ability to convert business rules and approval processes into dependable software behavior
  • Experience managing personnel deployments, using the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining on the first day of contract performance
  • Assigned DCWF role 621: Software Developer, Intermediate
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
  • CSSLP or GSEC certification
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Required DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be completed before independently performing duties involving privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions
  • Ready to begin on the first day of performance
