Logistics Analyst, First Shift

Improve warehouse and business operations at GXO Logistics by building reports, tracking performance metrics, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Analyze supply chain data to support productivity and efficiency improvements.

Description

  • Analyze operational services, projects, and business functions
  • Maintain databases and create metrics and scorecards to measure and improve performance
  • Research operational performance, productivity, error rates, and root causes
  • Review reports to identify issues across departments
  • Create reports, charts, presentations, and supporting analysis documents
  • Use business systems and software to maintain reporting tools for decision-making
  • Conduct waste walks at supplier and site locations to identify potential cost savings
  • Develop practical analyses that improve operational productivity and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work or military experience
  • At least one year of comprehensive supply chain or logistics experience
  • Skilled in preparing, importing, and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
  • Able to convert raw data into usable formats
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Access
  • Able to extract data from SAP and use Excel or Access to develop reports
  • Experience supporting warehouse management systems, order management applications, and database systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macro use
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong data mining and development skills, including statistical analysis and query creation
  • Able to create solution-oriented reports that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain structure
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills
