Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Poland, Remote)

Description

  • Develop and operate a globally deployed, multi-tenant platform based on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
  • Create automation and tooling that reduces operational effort, improves deployment safety, and speeds incident response
  • Define and maintain service-level objectives and key performance indicators
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Support teams
  • Take part in on-call rotations and lead the recovery and remediation of service-impacting incidents
  • Provide technical and architectural direction for designing, building, and scaling the Next Generation Control Plane
  • Drive the transition to a highly available, resilient, distributed microservices architecture for massive-scale operations

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable production services with Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Linux internals, particularly containerization and networking
  • A code-first approach to infrastructure operations
  • Working knowledge of Go
  • Proficiency with Python or Bash for scripting
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Extensive experience with observability platforms including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or comparable tools
  • A methodical, curious approach to solving complex technical problems
