Lead product analytics for Walmart Global Tech in Bangalore by defining metrics, evaluating experiments, and turning complex data into actionable insights for retail decisions.

Description

  • Establish product metrics, measurement frameworks, and analytical roadmaps.
  • Examine large, complex datasets to reveal patterns, determine root causes, and recommend actions.
  • Apply quantitative analysis to assess customer behavior, product performance, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product leaders, designers, and engineering managers to assess opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
  • Perform analytical deep dives to clarify business problems, opportunities, and next steps.
  • Gather, process, and analyze data from multiple sources with SQL, Python, R, and other analytical and statistical tools.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests while strengthening analytical rigor and experimentation practices.
  • Create analytical methods and scalable solutions for complex product and business questions.
  • Present findings through business reviews, presentations, and executive discussions.
  • Represent Product Analytics in stakeholder meetings and business reviews.
  • Use AI and generative AI tools to automate workflows and improve analytical productivity.
  • Apply analytics to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to convert product and business data into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in a high-growth analytics, product analytics, or related data-focused environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills, including independently querying, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets.
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, and common data-interpretation pitfalls.
  • Experience with product analytics and product development teams is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex findings to technical, business, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Qualification alternatives include a bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
