Senior Private Cloud Consultant, Proxmox and Kubernetes (Remote)

Description
- Lead cloud projects independently from planning through delivery
- Provide hands-on engineering and specialized technical consulting to customers
- Build and operate Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
- Develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines
- Create and maintain Terraform templates for Infrastructure as Code
- Design and implement secure, scalable private cloud architectures with Proxmox and Rancher, and AWS or Azure where applicable
- Verify that cloud solutions satisfy security and compliance requirements
- Develop practical security and monitoring concepts
- Diagnose issues proactively and improve existing cloud environments
- Process service tickets in cloud operations when applicable, without night shifts or on-call emergency duty
- Mentor, coordinate, and onboard a junior consultant when applicable
Requirements
- Several years of cloud consulting experience, particularly with Proxmox and Kubernetes, preferably in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in Linux administration
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Proxmox, CI/CD, Terraform, and related cloud technologies
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and Rancher is advantageous
- Willingness to mentor a junior cloud consultant and share expertise where applicable
- Clear communication, collaborative working skills, and confidence in customer-facing situations
- Reliable and dependable working style
- Fluent German at C2 level and English at C1 level
