Senior Power Platform Architect, AI — Remote Florida

Lead Sedgwick’s enterprise Power Platform strategy, governance, and AI-enabled automation initiatives. Shape scalable Microsoft solutions supporting insurance and claims operations.

Description

  • Own the enterprise Power Platform strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
  • Turn business priorities into delivery plans with defined, measurable outcomes.
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities across automation, low-code development, data, and AI.
  • Guide senior business and technology stakeholders on platform capabilities, investment decisions, risks, and adoption.
  • Set solution architecture, integration, security, environment, and platform-guardrail standards.
  • Build and advance Power Platform governance and Center of Excellence capabilities.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, components, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture, data privacy, security, compliance, and application lifecycle requirements.
  • Track platform health, technical debt, capacity, licensing considerations, and operational exposure.
  • Direct solutions through intake, design, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and support transition.
  • Coordinate concurrent initiatives, manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and sustain delivery progress.
  • Provide hands-on technical direction for solution design and troubleshooting.
  • Keep solutions practical, scalable, maintainable, and tied to measurable business value.
  • Strengthen delivery-team accountability while communicating progress, decisions, risks, and actions.
  • Coach architects, developers, analysts, makers, and citizen developers.
  • Set practical guidance that encourages reusable solutions and disciplined engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with business teams to increase adoption and achieve intended outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, Azure, and relevant AI capabilities.
  • Complete additional duties and contribute to organizational quality programs as assigned.
  • Travel to client sites when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A comparable combination of education, professional certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least 12 years of experience in software engineering, application delivery, solution architecture, or enterprise technology leadership.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • At least 5 years leading enterprise Power Platform programs, governance efforts, platform architecture, or Center of Excellence capabilities.
  • Experience defining architecture standards, governance models, security controls, environment strategies, and application lifecycle management practices.
  • Experience delivering complex business solutions from initial concept through production and adoption.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote U.S. setting and lead distributed teams effectively.
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, AI agents, generative AI, and intelligent automation.
  • Experience creating or leading a Power Platform Center of Excellence or enterprise citizen-development program.
  • Microsoft Power Platform solution architect or developer certifications.
  • Experience with Azure integration, identity, security, DevOps, and enterprise data services.
  • Ability to turn strategic vision into a practical execution plan.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and operate effectively amid ambiguity.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
