Senior Node.js Developer at Flosum — Remote UK

Description
- Build high-performance backend services and APIs for enterprise SaaS products
- Create secure, scalable Node.js microservices and integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem
- Develop modern front-end functionality with Vue.js and TypeScript
- Create CI/CD tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure that improves developer productivity
- Deliver real-time data processing and event-driven systems for sensitive enterprise data
- Take ownership of major architectural areas and deliver production-ready code
- Work directly with engineering leaders, product managers, and the CEO
- Manage systems end to end while supporting the company’s long-term growth
Requirements
- At least five years of professional Node.js development in production environments
- Expert knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime
- Extensive production experience with TypeScript
- Strong command of REST API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security practices
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling
- Proficiency with Git workflows, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Docker, AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Salesforce development experience is preferred, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations
- Experience with Salesforce ISV or AppExchange products is preferred
- Vue.js experience, especially Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is preferred
- Experience developing enterprise B2B SaaS products with compliance requirements such as SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR is preferred
- Familiarity with DevOps or DevSecOps toolchains in the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred
