- Shape the product roadmap and define meaningful career objectives
- Collaborate with the team to launch features and improve them using results and feedback
- Lead initiatives from initial concept through post-release operations
- Contribute to open-source work outside the team’s immediate responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain Grafana’s mobile application
- Take ownership of the application’s reliability, performance, and availability
- Join on-call rotations and remain accountable for the application in production
- Coach and support fellow team members
- Contribute to design decisions and collaborate across the team
- Build knowledge of the cloud product, customer needs, and a large distributed-systems codebase
Requirements
- Be based in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, or Germany
- Have experience with at least one native mobile platform, Android or iOS
- Bring strong experience developing production Flutter applications, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and maintainable architecture
- Have delivered mobile features from initial concept to release, including requirements clarification, solution exploration, development, testing, CI/CD, and publishing updates to the App Store and Google Play
- Be comfortable connecting mobile applications to backend APIs and cloud services
- Write clean, maintainable, high-performance code
- Work independently and communicate effectively
- Take initiative and move work forward proactively
- Apply a customer-focused mindset
- Be able to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, collect data and feedback, and iterate
- Experience using Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles is a plus
- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems is a plus
- Familiarity with on-call work, operations/SRE responsibilities, or infrastructure as code is a plus
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects is a plus
