Description

  • Translate product requirements into clear, actionable engineering tasks
  • Write high-quality, well-documented, thoroughly tested code
  • Contribute to engineering culture through new ideas, tools, and infrastructure
  • Investigate emerging technologies for restaurant and hospitality applications
  • Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to define and advance the product vision
  • Develop iOS applications
  • Manage dependencies and builds with xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, and Tuist
  • Identify and resolve defects proactively
  • Analyze application performance and implement optimizations
  • Use unit, integration, and UI testing at the appropriate stages
  • Create effective solutions for ambiguous, open-ended challenges
  • Partner with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive experiences, precise interfaces, and polished animations
  • Review pull requests, support teammates, and remove delivery blockers
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and encourage the exchange of ideas
  • Stay informed about engineering initiatives across the team and organization
  • Follow the roadmap and maintain an understanding of the company and product vision

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional software development experience
  • At least 4 years of iOS development experience
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Hands-on experience with Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM, REST APIs, XCTest/XCUITest, SwiftLint, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, Realm, Combine, PromiseKit, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TestFlight, Firebase, Postman, Figma, Jira, and Confluence
  • Exposure to Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Tuist, AWS, Python, MySQL, GraphQL, React, Redux, Webpack, and Captcha is helpful but optional
  • Must successfully complete a background verification check in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
