Senior Healthcare Systems Improvement Consultant

Lead complex healthcare quality improvement and system transformation projects for Comagine Health, a nonprofit organization. Oversee client relationships, project budgets and delivery, proposals, and consulting growth.

Description

  • Deliver advanced healthcare consulting across healthcare and community settings.
  • Manage several client projects concurrently.
  • Lead client meetings, workshops, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Advise on healthcare delivery, clinical operations, public health, system transformation, and quality improvement.
  • Design, implement, and support health system improvement initiatives.
  • Lead provider and client engagement, recruitment, and assessment.
  • Create and deliver curricula, training, learning collaboratives, learning and action networks, and workshops.
  • Partner with healthcare organizations and community groups to build capacity and sustain improvements.
  • Direct consulting projects and client engagements with minimal supervision.
  • Set project charters, implementation plans, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Agree on project scope and objectives with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Manage project budgets, track spending, and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Assess project performance, analyze data, and report on progress.
  • Use project management tools to track assignments, milestones, deliverables, and progress.
  • Coordinate project records, meeting materials, schedules, and reporting.
  • Guide and mentor consulting team members and share specialized expertise.
  • Lead and support business development efforts.
  • Find ways to broaden consulting services and deepen client relationships.
  • Represent Comagine Health at professional meetings, industry conferences, and healthcare events.
  • Give presentations and speak as a subject matter expert.
  • Help develop proposals, including consulting approaches, project methods, and technical content.
  • Work with leadership and business development teams to advance organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted.
  • At least 15 years of experience in healthcare, clinical care delivery, quality improvement, health system transformation, population health, care redesign, public health, or a related area.
  • At least 8 years of experience delivering healthcare consulting services.
  • Strong communication skills for working with executives, clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and reliability.
  • A results-focused approach and a record of delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage time independently, handle multiple priorities, and lead complex consulting work.
  • No specific professional license or certification is required.
  • Must live outside the East Coast region of the United States.
