Senior Go Engineer
Build Go microservices for COLIBRIX ONE’s card-issuing platform, spanning payment operations from card lifecycle to clearing. Help deliver secure, highly available infrastructure for fintech clients across Europe.
Description
- Build Go services for the Colibrix Partners card-issuing platform, including card lifecycle, wallets, balances, fees, commissions, authorization and clearing.
- Turn business needs into technical specifications and propose designs for APIs, data models, modules and external integrations.
- Develop solutions that meet PCI DSS, sensitive-data handling and secure service communication requirements.
- Profile and improve service performance, concurrency, data storage and network interactions.
- Contribute to microservices architecture, including service boundaries, communication, load balancing, error handling, queues, streaming and storage.
- Write maintainable, testable code with unit and integration test coverage.
- Review code, assess implementations, identify issues and offer constructive feedback.
- Bring practical solutions to technical discussions within the existing architecture and development processes.
Requirements
- Bring 3–5 years of Go backend development experience.
- Have around three years of experience with fintech applications.
- Understand distributed systems, microservices architecture and API design, including REST and RPC transports.
- Have worked with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers such as Kafka or NATS, and caching systems.
- Know CI/CD practices and tools, preferably GitLab.
- Have experience with AWS.
- Contribute technical expertise and collaborate with teammates on solutions.
- Communicate clearly and explain complex technical ideas to colleagues with different levels of technical background.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English and Russian.
- Bring experience in fintech.
- Design solutions with security built in throughout the development process.
- Understand fintech regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS and GDPR.
- Have experience optimizing performance and building highly available systems.
- Have used observability tools for logging, metrics and tracing, such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
