- Produce clear, efficient, maintainable, and documented code
- Create RESTful APIs and microservices

- Partner with frontend engineering, product, and QA teams to clarify requirements and integrate components
- Improve application and system performance
- Investigate technical issues while applying secure data-handling and API-authentication practices
- Integrate AWS or Azure services and APIs where appropriate
- Support, maintain, and enhance established applications and APIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least five years of professional experience
- Eligibility for U.S. citizenship
- Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Django
- Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and SOAP API architectural styles
- Experience using API development tools such as Postman and Swagger UI
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Some positions may require U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws
