Description
- Plan, design, develop, and maintain highly available, high-volume, low-latency applications
- Define application goals and functional requirements
- Align application designs with business objectives
- Evaluate alternative technologies and contribute proposals for architectural review
- Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams on large-scale, mission-critical systems
- Debug, optimize, and tune performance across the technology stack
- Build and maintain dozens of scalable services processing more than one billion messages daily
- Deliver features, improve performance, protect data, and resolve technical challenges within a Node.js and Java microservices architecture
Requirements
- At least seven years of full-stack development experience, including four or more years focused on Node.js
- Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with TypeScript-first frameworks such as NestJS, Fastify, or Next.js
- Professional experience developing with Java
- Track record of building and scaling enterprise production systems using microservices
- Working knowledge of at least one major frontend framework, including React or Angular
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, including effective caching approaches
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based containerization
- Experience creating and running thorough unit and integration tests
- Practical experience applying Agile methodologies in a fast-paced setting
- Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
