- Own the end-to-end data stack
- Build ETL pipelines that bring data from providers such as Stripe, Meta Ads, and operational databases into BigQuery
- Clean and model data with dbt and the medallion architecture
- Define and accurately represent core business metrics in the semantic layer
- Develop Omni dashboards and visualizations for daily company use
- Make Omni as self-service as possible across the company
- Deliver quickly, iterate often, and address mistakes promptly
- Create outputs that are exceptionally simple and self-service
Requirements
- Experience in senior analytics and full-stack engineering roles
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively in monorepos
- Extensive experience modeling data with dbt or another declarative data modeling framework
- Extensive experience with a semantic-layer modeling framework such as Omni or Looker
- Strong understanding of how to present data for straightforward consumption
- Ability to substantially accelerate workflows with frontier AI coding tools
- Willingness to work US time-zone hours when remote
- Willingness to travel regularly to the San Francisco office when remote
