Senior Frontend Engineer, Hybrid (United States)

Build embeddable APIs, SDKs, and interfaces for Omni’s AI analytics platform. Deliver customer-facing data exploration and visualization features across the product.

Description

  • Create product experiences that help customers explore, visualize, and share data in Omni
  • Lead frontend features from technical direction through implementation and release
  • Work directly with customers and product partners to define integration requirements
  • Build APIs, SDKs, and frontend experiences that enable companies to embed Omni in their products
  • Deliver iteratively and adapt quickly to customer feedback
  • Use AI coding tools, including Claude Code, to increase development velocity
  • Collaborate with engineers across the technology stack
  • Bring Embed customer priorities into wider product and engineering planning

Requirements

  • At least five years of software engineering experience
  • At least two years working at a senior level
  • Demonstrated ability to ship production software independently
  • Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills
  • A track record of delivering senior-level projects to customers
  • Experience with data or business intelligence tools or applications, such as SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, or Google Analytics
  • Experience using AI coding tools and workflows, such as Claude Code or Cursor
  • Experience developing and maintaining APIs or SDKs for external customers
  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Java or Python experience is useful but not required
  • Experience developing cloud-based SaaS applications is a plus
  • Must be located in San Francisco or near an Omni engineering hub in Philadelphia, Boulder/Denver, Santa Cruz, or Seattle
  • Final-round interviews take place in person
