Description

  • Build and maintain client-side logic and supporting systems
  • Deliver responsive, consistent, and user-friendly experiences
  • Plan and manage project execution
  • Create and run unit tests
  • Maintain application source code
  • Develop reusable code libraries
  • Define APIs in partnership with backend developers
  • Write and maintain detailed source-code and API documentation
  • Translate UI wireframes into working interfaces
  • Shape the visual and interaction design of applications
  • Work closely with backend development teams
  • Progress toward full-stack engineering

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional software development experience
  • Degree in computer engineering or a related field
  • Strong command of JavaScript, React.js, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design
  • Background designing RESTful web services
  • Understanding of modern web application design principles
  • Experience creating and consuming XML and JSON
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility challenges
  • Experience developing portable code, especially with React Native
  • Familiarity with application servers including Apache, Node.js, and Nginx
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Able to work independently and resolve programming issues with limited supervision
  • Able to collaborate with teams representing varied technical backgrounds
  • Capable of translating needs into technical requirements
  • Able to adjust to evolving project requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
