Senior Engineering Pod Lead, Growth – Neko Health (New York, Hybrid)

Description

  • Lead a four-to-six-person engineering pod while contributing directly to product development and delivery
  • Deliver the Growth roadmap across the funnel, payments, booking, and clinic and market launches
  • Define technical direction, architecture, and instrumentation for rapid experimentation and configurable launches
  • Own testing, release practices, quality, security, and resilience against fraud and abuse
  • Hire, mentor, and give direct feedback to strengthen the pod each quarter
  • Incorporate AI tools into engineering workflows
  • Track dashboards, run experiments, and develop compounding growth loops
  • Build and improve the website, waitlist, booking, payments, referrals, invites, membership tiers, B2B capabilities, localization, and new clinic and market launches

Requirements

  • Extensive experience building consumer products across the full stack
  • Deep expertise in at least one of payments, growth systems, internationalization, or web platforms
  • A track record of owning a funnel, conversion rate, or revenue line and improving its performance
  • Experience designing disciplined experiments and separating meaningful results from noise
  • Experience leading engineers as a technical lead or in an equivalent role
  • Daily use of AI coding tools, with shipped work demonstrating their application
  • Preferred: experience launching a consumer product in a new country or market
  • Preferred: experience building referral, invitation, or viral growth loops
  • Preferred: experience working in a regulated or trust-critical field such as healthcare or fintech
  • Preferred: experience strengthening public-facing products against fraud, abuse, and bots
  • Technical familiarity with React, React Native, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Next.js, Sanity, Vercel, C#, Node, Cosmos DB, Figma, Azure DevOps, and Claude Code
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based
