Senior Design Manager, Capital Projects

Description
- Help lead delivery of the AMP8 capital investment programme in line with business objectives.
- Direct the engineering team and coordinate delivery.
- Deliver a varied capital investment portfolio as a member of the Leadership Team.
- Build professional networks with internal and external partners in IOS.
- Manage projects using NEC3 contracts, particularly Option E (Pre-Contract Planning) and Option A (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule).
- Work with the Project Manager and delivery teams to meet contractual obligations and Anglian Water governance standards.
- Partner with alliance organisations Barhale, Kier and MGroup.
Requirements
- Hold an engineering degree.
- Have experience designing multidisciplinary capital projects in a collaborative design-and-build environment.
- Manage designers’ duties under CDM.
- Demonstrate strong business ethics, respect for others, commitment to the organisation’s reputation and integrity.
- Create a collaborative workplace and address poor conduct through effective leadership.
- Engage relevant stakeholders to deliver on schedule, with particular attention to obligation and regulatory dates.
- Challenge established approaches and lead the development and implementation of innovative techniques.
