Senior Data Scientist, Generative AI — GFT Technologies (Remote)

Lead GFT Technologies’ generative AI initiatives with Azure AI Foundry, building agents, enterprise copilots, and RAG architectures from discovery through production.

Description

  • Lead the design and delivery of generative AI solutions with LLMs on Azure AI Foundry, from discovery through production.
  • Build and orchestrate AI agents with Azure AI Foundry Agent Service and Copilot Studio, including multi-agent architectures.
  • Develop enterprise copilots and assistants in Copilot Studio, connecting plugins, connectors, actions, and business systems.
  • Design RAG solutions with Azure AI Search, embeddings, and grounding against corporate knowledge.
  • Establish LLMOps standards with Azure AI Foundry and Prompt Flow for model and prompt versioning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Apply Responsible AI and Azure AI Content Safety practices to support observability, security, and governance.
  • Review technical work and mentor mid-level and junior engineers as the discipline’s technical reference.
  • Convert business needs into AI and copilot use cases while contributing to architecture decisions.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in AI engineering or AI-based solution development, including technical leadership.
  • Advanced Python skills for AI solutions and API integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI and large language models.
  • Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, including its model catalog, Prompt Flow, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Experience building enterprise copilots and agents with Copilot Studio.
  • Experience developing and orchestrating AI agents, including multi-agent architectures.
  • Experience with RAG architectures, Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector search, and grounding.
  • Knowledge of LLMOps for deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical communication and mentoring abilities.
  • Microsoft AI-102 or AZ-305 certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Data Agents is a plus.
  • Experience with Semantic Kernel or equivalent frameworks is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Responsible AI, security, and governance is a plus.
  • Experience in the financial sector or regulated environments is a plus.
  • English proficiency for working in a global environment is a plus.
