Engineer II developing APIs, data platforms, and user interfaces for Bellese Technologies’ civic healthcare products. Build secure, scalable solutions that support better public health outcomes.

Description

  • Drive meaningful contributions across one or more products or projects
  • Plan, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features
  • Help reduce technical debt across products and projects
  • Provide proactive support to teammates
  • Follow team processes while maintaining a steady flow of production releases
  • Use test-driven development to build backend systems and user interfaces
  • Help develop APIs, specifications, and data models for frontend and third-party integrations
  • Design, implement, and maintain data interactions
  • Improve data operations for performance and scalability
  • Protect data integrity and security
  • Create user interfaces guided by UX designs and customer needs
  • Contribute to automated functional and non-functional testing suites

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder; sponsorship is not available
  • Must have lived in the United States for at least the past three years
  • Must qualify to hold a Public Trust position, including successfully completing a US Government background investigation
  • High proficiency in at least one Software Engineering technology
  • Strong expertise in one or more relevant technologies
  • Professional experience with test-driven development
  • Experience developing APIs, specifications, and data models
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data interactions
  • Experience improving data operations for performance and scalability
  • Experience protecting data integrity and security
  • Experience designing and developing interfaces based on UX designs
  • Understanding of functional and non-functional automated testing suites
  • AWS experience with S3, EC2, Glue, or Lambda preferred
  • R programming experience preferred
  • Professional Databricks or Apache Spark certification preferred
  • SAS experience preferred
